My background is in Civil Engineering and Project Management. I then worked in the area of organisational performance management.
For the past ten years I have been involved in project development and delivery with organisations in the voluntary and community sector within Cornwall, particularly focussing on projects that help those who are most disadvantaged and address the issues of social exclusion. My work has involved advice on possible funding opportunities, organisational improvement and policy development.
I also have an interest in the area of addressing the issues of poverty and homelessness, and I am the Vice Chair of the Cornwall Independent Poverty Forum

Retired Chartered Surveyor, property consultant / town planner / valuer, with current active involvement in local single homeless accommodation projects, surplus household goods recycling, local renewable energy projects, and church related activities.
